Specialty Bean, Whipple, 1 lb.

We think of Whipple as a celebration bean. The generous size of it, its pleasing roundness, and the creamy, delicious flavor makes this a very special bean to share with folks you love. Whipple is slightly harder to produce (a little more prone to cracking, slightly lower yielding) but it’s simply too special not to grow. We’re offering it as a specialty bean this year. Whipple is a Pacific Northwest bean, originally from Oregon, where it was grown by a homesteading family with connections to Martin Luther King, Jr.
