We grow vegetable and herb starts for local gardeners. Our seed is sourced from small regional seed producers who prioritize locally-adapted, genetically diverse varieties. Open-pollinated plants are chosen whenever possible so that gardeners can save their own seed. We conduct on-farm trials throughout each growing season to select for the most reliable and delicious varieties. Resilient starts are grown in our greenhouses in biologically diverse soil. Seedlings start off in soil blocks so they can develop a vigorous root system, then are potted up.

Our vegetable and herb starts are available at Sunset Builders Supply on Lopez Island from March through September.
